Restful Waters is a beautiful sanctuary situated on a 10-acre property located in the Darling Ranges foothills of Perth, 45 mins from the Perth city centre. Nestled amongst an avocado orchard and tranquil water setting it is an ideal environment to deepen practises of meditation and yoga and to enquire within through satsang and counselling.
The centre is dedicated to helping people discover restfulness, clarity and openness. Offering mindfulness courses and popular 2-3 hour mini retreats, Restful Waters creates the opportunity to take the time you need to slow down and let go of the tensions a busy life can create.
Yoga, meditation and tai chi classes are held morning and night from Monday to Saturday. The centre is the home of Vishrant Yoga, a new form of yoga that is slow and gentle for anyone wanting to de-stress and find clarity. Vishrant Yoga is founded on the philosophy that a relaxed mind and body support happiness. Beginners are most welcome with all mats and props provided.

Restful Waters was created by The Vishrant Buddhist Society, a not-for-profit organisation offering community services that encourage and inspire people to live a happy way of life. The Vishrant Buddhist Society was founded by Prem Vishrant, an enlightened spiritual teacher who has been in service to the community since 1999. Restful Waters is named after Vishrant, as his name in Sanskrit means ‘Restful’. His full name carries the meaning ‘Restful Love’. Vishrant gives satsang, a free weekly talk on various life topics such as how to be happy or deal with fears and anxiety. These talks, called Meetings in Truth, take place on Friday evenings at 7:30pm.
Visitors describe this place as a beautiful sanctuary, one that is close to the city but feels like another world.
